Tax Commission reminds tax preparers to act quickly following tax software security breaches

Tax professionals with questions or who need to report a suspected software compromise should contact the Tax Commission immediately. Prompt reporting allows the Tax Commission to identify affected returns, prevent fraudulent refunds when possible, and assist taxpayers whose information might have been compromised.
