Tax Commission News Release
Idaho Tax Commission shares information with tax preparers in statewide workshops
BOISE, IDAHO — May 1, 2015 — With the income tax filing season just ended, all four of the Idaho State Tax Commissioners are about to learn from tax preparers what worked well this year, and what could be improved.
The commissioners will take part in the annual Spring Roadshows sponsored by the Idaho Society of CPAs (ISCPA) in May. They’ll be accompanied by several Tax Commission administrators, who will join the commissioners in talking about tax fraud and identity theft, processing of 2014 income tax returns, and legislative changes to tax laws, among other things.
The ISCPA Spring Roadshows are open to anyone interested in attending; however, preregistration is required.
The first roundtable will be May 12 in Coeur d’Alene, with others to follow in Lewiston/Clarkston, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, and Boise.
For a complete list of locations, dates, and registration information, visit the ISCPA website at www.idcpa.org.
