How to upgrade IdaFuel 3.1 software to IdaFuel 3.2

NOTE: You must complete all of the steps below in sequence; if you don't, you'll lose all of your data.

1. Export your data from IdaFuel 3.1
1. Click on the Tools button (wrench icon) on the main page.
   
2. Under Select Action, check the box for Export All Data from this Database (IdaFuel v3.1). Then click on the export button (hand pointing upward) on the lower left of the screen. When prompted, click OK.
   
3. This creates 17 Excel files in the IE\Backup subfolder under your installation folder. The default folder for this is: C:\Program Files\FTR2002\IE\Backup. You will import most of this data back into your new database in step 3.
4. Exit IdaFuel 3.1.
2. Install IdaFuel 3.2
1. Save the following files — FTR2002.mde, FTRDat.mdb — to your IdaFuel install folder (default: C:\Program Files\FTR2002). These replace the older versions of the same files in that folder.
   
   Helpful hint: Right-click on each link, select Save Target As, and Save to C:\ProgramFiles\FTR2002. (Choose Yes when asked if you would like to replace existing file.)
2. Save UG.htm to your C:\.
   
   Helpful hint: Right-click on the link, select Save Target As, and Save to C:\. (Choose Yes when asked if you would like to replace existing file.
3. Change the name of your shortcuts from "IdaFuel 3.1" to "IdaFuel 3.2".
4. Run IdaFuel the way you normally do.
3. Import your data from IdaFuel 3.1
1. Click on the Tools button (wrench icon) on the main page. This takes you to a new page.
   
2. Click on the new button marked Upgrade to IdaFuel v3.2 in the upper right corner of the page. This imports your vendor data (Carriers, Acquired From, and Sold To), picklists, and sort order for each picklist along with all your data (including receipts and disbursements) from version 3.1. The upgrade will also add the new disbursement schedule.
   
3. Once the upgrade is complete, the Upgrade button will disappear.
