BOISE, IDAHO — April 11, 2013 — The Idaho State Tax Commission will waive a late payment penalty for taxpayers who are unable to file on time because their income tax returns include federal forms that couldn’t be filed until after January. The Tax Commission joins the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in granting this conditional penalty relief. (Read more)

LEWISTON, IDAHO — April 10, 2013 — The Idaho State Tax Commission will open its Lewiston office to the public on Monday, April 15 to help taxpayers meet the income tax filing deadline. The office is located at 1118 F St. and is normally open only on the 20th day of each month. (Read more)

BOISE, IDAHO — April 9, 2013 — Last-minute tax filers in the Boise area can drop off their state and federal income tax returns without getting out of their car. The Idaho State Tax Commission will offer its annual curbside service to taxpayers from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15. The Tax Commission is located in Boise at 800 Park Blvd., Plaza IV (the Washington Group Plaza). Individual income tax returns and payments are due Monday, April 15 for both state and federal taxes.
